They do more than just inform. They inspire.

There are many people who, in the course of your life will come to inspire you. I have two such inspirations who have been playing a major role in my specialization project. These are the people I turn to when it comes to inputs, quotes and in most of the cases contacts. I have never been disappointed by them. They have always been available to me when I needed help with work.

Deepu Prabhakarn Sir, one of my favourite sports editors, works for The Hindu. His profound understanding of sports (from football to kho-kho) and his ready-to-help attitude have helped me endlessly during my project. Even if it is 12 in the night and there is an emergency with regards to quotes, he has always helped me out with a smile.

Rayan Rozario Sir, my mentor and one of my greatest inspirations, is the other person who I am forever indebted to. He is one such person who always lightens up the scenario and helps me handle pressure. He is the sports reporter at the Coimbatore desk at The Hindu. While Deepu Sir gives me constructive criticisms, Rayan Sir is the fun loving type who works with the idea that everything is done better if it is done the fun way.

My hunt for contacts and information continues and I know I can bank on these two people to help me out at the worst of situations.
